Script# 0.3.0.0 released

This morning a new version of Script# has been released to support AJAX ASP.NET and Microsoft Silverlight Beta 1 (formerly known as WPF/E). Script# is a private project of one of the architects on the 'Web Platform and Tools', Nikhil Kothari, and is basically a C# to Javascript compiler. This means that you can write complex Javascript using C# without having to bother with all the fuss of doing it yourself (like writing custom client-side code to access the AJAX ASP.NET Sys library). It has been around for a year or so, but now with the addition of AJAX and Silverlight support, it is becoming very, very interesting. This has been recognized within Microsoft as well (as stated on his blog): '…Various groups within Microsoft (such as Messenger, Windows Live and Office) are now looking to Script# as a key aspect of their script development process…' Check out his blog if you want to learn more about Script#: http://www.nikhilk.net or if you want to go straight to the download: http://projects.nikhilk.net/Projects/ScriptSharp.aspx
